Lesson 9 - Creating Symmetrical Shapes

To encourage students to have fun on the Web while learning about Creating Symmetrical Shapes, here are some games and interactive activities they can do on their own or in pairs.

Use mirrors to explore symmetry.

Instructions for Use

Symmetry Grid lets students create symmetrical designs interactively.

To use Symmetry Grid, click on the "object" squares within the grid. Each square turns gold. To move the squares within the grid, click on the navigation button with the four arrows, closest to the grid. Click on the grid button to show the reflected image. To change the line of symmetry, click the star button. To reset the grid, click on the "Reset" button.
