Instructions for UseCounting On and Counting Back in Ones and Tens lets students count on and back. To use Counting On and Counting Back in Ones and Tens, click on the "00" to show or hide the number of beads on the left side of the string. Click on the "+1" button to add one to the number of beads on the left side of the string. Click on the "-1" button to subtract one to the number of beads on the left side of the string. Click on the "+10" button to add ten to the number of beads on the left side of the string. Click on the "-10" button to subtract ten to the number of beads on the left side of the string. Click on the "Reset" button to move all the beads to the left side of the string. Create addition and subtraction problems and solve them using counting on and counting back.
Space Hopscotch lets students count on and back. To use Space Hopscotch, start at the number 6. To jump to the next nearest number, add 2. Keep jumping until students reach 24. To go back to the 6, get students to jump to craters that are 1 less each time. |
